I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing HAPPINESS.
So. I don't usually write blogs that update my life like I'm about to. But I am just so incredibly happy I feel the need to share.
Let me begin with an explanation of the quote I chose to start this off on.
Happiness.
For a brief while this eluded me.
I was so incredibly far from happy, and just couldn't see it.
I focused too much on making others happy, that I forgot about myself.
Fear got in the way too.
However, my eyes were finally opened.
The words went straight into one ear, and stayed.
Sometimes, the people closest to you can force you into reality.
I was slowly fading away, until suddenly, I wasn't anymore.
The quote above is my mantra.
It helps me hold on to the happy I feel.
The path of happiness made just for me, by me.
I wake up every day with this simple phrase in mind.
When life is so beautiful,
you just have to enjoy it.
Even through the ups and the downs,
and the mistakes and heartbreaks.
So, now that I've offered up a short background, I'm going to gush about Paris.
This is at Chateau de Versailles. So absolutely beautiful. This also happens to be my favorite fountain on the grounds.
This is one of my favorite people here. We kinda just clicked. She likes cats so I knew we would going to get a long just fine. Oh yeah, and we like to go sit under the Eiffel Tower with bread, wine, cheese, and chocolate (the staple items for meals in Paris of course).
I eat a lot of macrons here. It's kinda my thing.
I also like to pose weird. Funny pictures are the best. This gem is in front of Chateau de Versailles. Remarkably beautiful.
I kinda have a new boyfriend. As you can tell, we're in love.
These girls are pretty darn great.
Sarah decided I can only eat macrons if she and or Rosalia are around to witness it...weird I know. But she's super cool[insert french accent here] so its okay:)
I even got to enjoy this beautiful city with my brother. It was a wonderful way to begin my adventure.
This is our signature pose for pictures together. We look like models right? haha.
Well, I feel that is an appropriate expression of what happiness is to me.
Its all about the adventure, the enthusiasm, the excitement, and above all the belief that everything works out just as it should and you might as well sit back and enjoy the ride.
