Boxes.

This is all about boxes.
Not in the literal sense.
I mean it figuratively.
Imagine a box around your person.
It represents the comfort zone.
Inside of this box you will find home.
You are rarely lost, and know everyone in town.
It's so comfortable.
Mom and dad are there, so is your best friend.
Your school is probably there too and all your favorite hang outs.
It really is the most pristine place to be.
Why take a gamble and step out when things are so good?
I think the question ought to be: why not?
Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is to jump right out of that comfortable box.
I can't say the landing will be smooth when you do.
It's not the right decision for everyone to make.
But my oh my, it sure can be a wonderful one.
My jump has led to a quarter in Paris.
A journey I decided to take on my own.
I cannot begin to express the many emotions I feel.
Terribly frightened, yet entirely excited, and monumentally overwhelmed.
What an experience I have awaiting me,
all because I took that first step out of my box.
"LIFE BEGINS AT THE END OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE."
